IN ORDER TO GIVE YOUR BABY WHAT IT NEEDS, YOU MUST BE CARED FOR.
You have created a new life. You have given birth. You may be caring for your baby 24/7, experiencing the biggest change of your life alongside hormonal shifts, recovery, little sleep, and limited time for yourself.
To stay healthy and grow despite all these challenges, you need to be cared for. With rest, soothing food, warmth and closeness. And with an environment that stands up for all these aspects together with you. This is where my support comes in: In addition to your community and your midwife's postnatal care, I will assist, nurture, and accompany you through the transition into motherhood.

HOI, I'M OLIVIA
The birth of my daughter four years ago came very suddenly and unexpectedly. At a time when I was still working full-time and emotionally far from slowing down and taking a break. Perhaps this contributed to my attempt to continue as I had before the birth, as soon as my daughter was healthy in my arms. So, I went out, invited friends and family, cooked, cleaned, organized appointments, and even did some weeding (yes, really). I allowed myself and my baby very little rest in those first weeks and months—thinking that the more everything stayed the same as before the birth, the better.
As a postpartum doula, I want to provide you with what I missed during my postpartum period and the months that followed. My desire is for you to let go, rest, and recharge—so you are strengthened for the intense months and years that follow your baby's birth. I want you to consciously experience those special first weeks and months, the transition into motherhood, so that despite all the challenges, you can grow with joy and confidence, embracing and shaping the changes in yourself and your life with love.
